Job Summary: The Automotive Structures North America (ASNA) Sr. IT Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing IT staff and applications systems, delivering business critical IT solutions and support in a high paced, high demand Automotive manufacturing environment. This position will be a business partner to the ASNA General Manager and Leadership team. The role will have IT responsibilities in three manufacturing facilities (Van Buren, MI, White, GA and San Luis Potosi, MX) and one office location (Plymouth, MI).
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy departmental strategy that supports business continuity and growth. Be a visionary and an equal partner to the business. Have a service oriented and a consultative style of operating.
- Manage third party support and other contracts with services providers.
- Maximize uptime in a 24x7 multi-site manufacturing environments
- Be a strong leader who will collaborate with the NA IT Director and Central IT Teams.
- Develop and maintain disaster recover processes and procedures.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, storage and a data center.
- Participate in SOX, TISAX audits and compliance support for IT systems.
- Support continuous improvement for IT (optimize, standardize, simplify).
- Coordinate projects with global business systems and infrastructure support teams.
- Develop team’s capabilities and ensure growth and availability of capacity.
Qualifications
- 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment supporting enterprise level systems (required)
- 5 years IT management experience leading small sized teams (required)
- Hands on experience working with PLEX ERP & EDI (required)
- Experience with PLEX MES (required)
- SOX and TISAX experience (preferred)
