Construction Headhunting is on the hunt for a Bookkeeper - Office Manager were looking for a well-rounded Accounting Manager with 8 years prior experience overseeing the following, Billing/Invoicing, Account Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), Union Payroll experience to join our client’s team in New Broomfield, MO. In this exciting role, you will provide assistance in all facets of a rapidly growing construction–fabrication contractor with roughly 60 employees, generating 9M in revenue.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities:
- Liaison with CPA firm, GM, and project managers while reporting to the owners
- Assist with business financial activities including GL accounting and reconciliations
- Perform month-ended closing process including preparation of manual Journal Entries and ensuring appropriate cost allocations
- Perform monthly financial reporting to include cash management and reconciliations
- Maintain A/P and A/R processes and address issues as necessary
- Support Payroll Process and Human Resources functions
- Maintain fixed asset files to track capital projects
- Support inventory controls including annual physical inventory to ensure accurate inventory balances
- Perform additional related duties and analyses as directed
- Prepare State and Federal tax filings
- Oversee office staff employees
Experience Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- 3-5 Years of working experience in Accounting within the Construction Industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex or ambiguous situations
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings
- A highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities
- Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of MS Office Suite
- Experience with Foundation Software is a plus
