Founded in early 2008, Fay Servicing is committed to providing innovative servicing solutions for both performing and non-performing mortgage loans. As a specialty mortgage servicer and originator that sees the customer behind every loan, we understand that our customers aren’t loan numbers — they’re homeowners.

Before founding our company, we conducted an exhaustive analysis of the mortgage servicing industry and gained valuable insight into the problems facing mortgage servicers and their customers. With that insight, we set out to build a different kind of servicing company from the ground up.

Come join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in our industry! We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development to join our team.

As the Director of Business Development (DBD) you are responsible for building and maintaining a network of both Regional and National Residential/Commercial Mortgage Brokers, Lenders and Originators, for the primary purpose of generating product flow into our Non-Owner Occupied (NOO) Fix & Flip and Investor Rental Loan Products. You will be responsible for negotiating agreements with prospective business partners, marketing the products of Constructive Loan LLC, and to prudently exercising their authority in the promotion of the business.

This role will be remote and can be located anywhere in the US.

What you will do for Constructive Capital:

  • Develop and regularly maintain a sales strategy process to identify and attract new lenders and brokers to the wholesale platform
  • Work to expand and grow existing client relationships when prudent
  • Research and identify new market opportunities
  • Participate in the company’s marketing strategies
  • Participate in and/or lead the sales process to potential clients
  • Effectively utilize CRM software and programs to track potential new relationships and provide regular updates to Senior Management
  • Present appropriate loan products and programs and explain guidelines
  • Must be able to manage a large production pipeline throughout the life of the sales process
  • Regularly communicate with the Operations Staff to ensure a clean and efficient production pipeline
  • Work with Loan Coordinators and the Operations team as a whole to ensure an efficient loan origination process and timely loan closings/fundings

What you will bring to Constructive Capital:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills. Solid industry and technical knowledge.
  • A firm grasp of the mortgage origination process
  • Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
  • Ability to utilize Loan Pricing Rate Sheets, product guidelines, and restrictions and convey accurate information to Third Party Originator (TPO) partners
  • Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
  • Proficient computer knowledge; familiarity with basic MS Office applications
  • Hands-On knowledge of the loan origination process
