Job Description:
We are supporting a Senior Director in the Quality Assurance space, who is looking for a talented, Lead SDET.
The Lead SDET is at the Associate Director level for our client with major opportunities for increased leadership down the line. While mentorship and leadership are a part of this role, it is vital that the person in this role is still hands on and capable of doing IC duties. Coding in Java and experience in an AWS environment is a must for this role since our client really has an organization of true SDET's and leaders from some of the best known technology companies in the world.
Knowledge and deep experience of UI and Backend (API) automation is a must have. Our client mainly uses Selenium and REST assured in this environment.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
- Strong programming with Java/J2EE
- Experience working in an AWS environment and using those services
- Strong QA experience
- Ability to mentor and lead junior staff
- Team management experience
- Strong QA mindset curious, meticulous, willing to speak up
- Approaches QA with solid process learned from experience
- Basic SQL skills
