TEEN RESPITE PROVIDER NEEDED
Are you looking to gain professional experience working with children with special needs, but unsure where to start? We are seeking individual/s to provide caregiving services for a cool teen male! Super outgoing and enjoys making friends!!
** experience working with epilepsy & cognitive delay **
· knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred
· willingness to accept parental feedback in regards to child
· willing to participate in INTERACTIVE activities - he loves going to the ball fields, playing outside, etc
· eager to learn
WAGE
$14.13/Hour
SCHEDULE
Up to 5 hours a week - !!VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!!
· possibility for more hours as family gets more comfortable
JOB DUTIES
· Attentiveness to behaviors
· Spend time with teen doing things he likes to do (board games, outings)
· knowledge with redirection and deescaltion techniques
· Build confidence/independence

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
· Criminal/Caregiver background check
· Compassionate individual with care experience preferred
· Valid driver's license preferred
