What are the responsibilities and job description for the AWS Developer position at Contact Government Services, LLC?
As an AWS Developer for CGS you will work collaboratively with the solution architect, and other resources, to develop and implement the data archive that will be hosted and operated in the AWS cloud infrastructure. The data archive will maintain all existing relational data in the Oracle 12c database, as well as any relational tables not converted, VSAM files storied in their native format, flat files, and reports. You will ensure that best practices are maintained for AWS services.
Job Duties
- Improve usage of data maintaining best practices
- Work alongside solution architect
- Develop cost-oriented designs
- Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years of success with development and implementation of AWS web solutions
- 5 years of experience in Ruby, Python, Java programming, or C# and the ability to deliver high quality code in that language
- 5 years of experience with AWS Cloud Front, Quicksight, and Glacier highly desired
