CGS is looking for an Litigation Support Specialist familiar with litigation support software to define requirements for, design, development, and oversee a wide range of IT systems on a large scale enterprise system. The Engineer will be primarily focused on maintenance and support for the existing operating system and related infrastructure as it relates to patching, creation of software packages, updates, and vulnerability testing. They will also serve as a primary point of contact for other agency department liaisons and compile, assess, and develop plans for both changes to existing setups and requirements that may necessitate new initiatives. The candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and associated systems & support services as well as be experienced and comfortable with acting as team lead or primary liaison for project information.

Some example job duties and responsibilities include:
- Identify and define requirements, design, develop, install, configure, test, and implement information systems technology solutions to large-scale federal enterprise environments.
- Function as an engineer for the implementation and multi-tier support of environment which consists of over 15,000 user desktop workstations, laptops, and servers.
- Support operating system patching infrastructure such as mandatory security updates to the enterprise
- Provide recommendations for improving/enhancing the current software distribution processes and procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex PC issues.
- Create, customize, and deploy automated software packages using SCCM
- Distribute scheduled security patches for Windows environments.
- Provide support to team members with the tools, knowledge, and support documentation required to support enterprise architecture
- Develop and maintain PC performance metrics and ensure PC configuration changes or application changes do not impact the overall customer PC experience.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information systems or a related discipline.
General Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or related industry
- Demonstrated understanding of Windows OS including SCCM for deployment of software packages
- Experience as manager or supervisor of IT support personnel
- Demonstrated experience with identification or receipt of project requirements, development of project plan, and implementation/testing
- Familiarity with legal technology software tools and applications such as Relativity, Concordance, Nuix
Specialized Experience:
The proposed candidate must have:
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 7 and later operating systems
- Identification and troubleshooting of complex PC issues on both desktop and laptop machines
- SCCM 2007/2012 Experience with application deployments, collections and queries
- Extensive experience with Imaging process and software
- Enterprise environment knowledge supporting large scale environment
- Experience with installation, configuration, and utilization of MS SCCM 2012 to deploy/patch software packages to thousands of desktop workstations, laptops, and servers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2012’s capabilities, architecture, and standard industry operating procedures
- Utilization of change management/change control processes and procedures.
- Proven experience in documenting system requirements, design, implementation, and operations document deliverables.
- Configuring and Troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol and network connection
THE FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- A Master’s Degree or in an IT related field
- Active security clearance of Secret or Top Secret
- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, C#, VBS, SQL or other industry standard coding languages
- Experience building and maintaining complex software systems
- Industry certifications/licences
