Planning and Procurement Specialist

Contango is seeking a Planning and Procurement Specialist. This person will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels across two northern Wyoming plants (Elk Basin in the Powell area, and Worland), and will manage the procurement process of new inventory, including requisitions and receipts. Additional responsibilities include: Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices; Coordinating purchasing and tracking stock transfers; deliveries, tagging and processing; Supporting upkeep and maintenance of inventory, purchase order data, and job plans in Maximo; Constructing and maintaining work plans for turnarounds and daily maintenance projects, including costs, resources, timelines, and contractor proposals; Preparing monthly maintenance/operational reports, outage reports and various inventory reports, as required.

Required:

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management systems (i.e., Maximo) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years' plant experience or equivalent in industry.
• Understanding of maintenance and operations practice and procedures is preferred.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with managing projects, planning, budgeting, and cost controls preferred.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
