The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all mfg. areas are running and following Contec policies and procedures while manufacturing goods for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
- Ensure that all employees are on their job at beginning/end of shift and working.
- Communication with other leads, supervisors, and manager.
- Ensure that all Contec policies and procedures are being followed.
- Work and lead by all Contec’s core values.
- Ability to move around or rearrange personnel as needed.
- Help employees to remove work obstacles that may be hindering them.
- Enter fault reports in the IFS system as needed.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, travelers and control plans in IFS for production orders.
- Ability to know and understand how to operate and trouble shoot all equipment they lead over.
- Understanding and following proper safety procedures when using the all equipment and hoist equipment.
- Perform quality inspection/measurements for each shop order.
- Gathering and loading of the necessary raw materials needed to complete the shop order.
- Making and closing shop orders and placing product in the correct area.
- Others may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no prior experience required.
