*Job Summary*
Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, this position is accountable for directing and supervising the manufacturing operations at the plant from receipt of materials through shipping, utilizing the facilities, equipment, and personnel to achieve the highest level of production of products while maintaining the highest level of safety and quality at the lowest possible cost.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with CONTECH’s policies, values and strategies. Ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect providing an environment for success. Clearly communicates expectations and accountabilities for performance helping employees see the link between individual performance and department/company achievement of its strategic plan. Recognizes and rewards good performance and gives regular feedback.

*Primary Responsibilities*
- Generates daily production schedules and shipping schedules to facilitate required business
- Learns all facets of EH&S Programs and can conduct training for employees as necessary
- Balances headcount across multiple production lines based on production demand
- Design Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program for the facility and required budget
- Supervises outbound product and loading practices, inspections, and supporting documentation
- Works with vendors for procurement of manufacturing and production supplies
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and production equipment
- Plans and conducts full physical inventory activities – organize and structure, investigate variances, manage monetary impact, and optimize process
- Schedules trucking by commercial carrier, company trucks or customer plant pickup
- Assists in hiring of new employees including screening applications & interviewing candidates
- Manages productivity of workforce to ensure maximum effectiveness
- May have Direct Supervision of plant production leads or plant employees
- Other duties assigned

*Minimum Education*
- Required minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Major/Focus: Business or Related Major
Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

*Qualifications*
Required:
- 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate in a team atmosphere.
- Experience with manufacturing production and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact across multiple levels of the organization and across functions.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or construction based industry
- Experience with JDEdwards ERP or Oracle based systems
