Summary:
The Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to both the accounts payable and accounts receivable operations of the organization. This role includes active involvement and interaction with different departments and external stakeholders.
This position is based in Denver Colorado. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities. This position will require commuting to corporate or satellite offices to facilitate the check printing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Taking full responsibility for all aspects of Contexture’s accounts payable processes
- Maintaining strong vendor relationships and accuracy with vendor files in accounting environment
- Interacting with internal departments (including executive team members) to coordinate vendor payment processes
- Coding and entering vendor invoices in multiple Contexture companies
- Preparing check and ACH vendor payments for Controller and CFO approvals
- Assisting with accounts receivable processes including the generation of customer invoicing and communication with customers that have outstanding account balances
- Assisting with annual financial statement audit
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience
A minimum of 5 years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience required (non-profit as well as private sector is a plus). Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another related field preferred. Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is preferred.

The person in this position needs to frequently communicate and exchange information and move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a keyboard, monitor, calculator, copy / scanner machine, and printer. Frequently moves office and work-related material weighing up to 10 pounds; Occasionally moves office and work-related material weighing up to 30 pounds.
