Analyst, Senior Production

Job Summary Responsible for maintaining and updating oil and gas production and sales data into company production and accounting system. Responsible for generating, filing and reporting a variety of internal production and sales volume reports. Performs analysis of production versus sales data. Provides support to the Production Operations Department and its engineering group. Duties and Responsibilities Maintains Production data (gauge reports, oil purchase statements and gas purchase statements) input into Merrick Systems for all wells in specific area of responsibility. Reconcile Gauge Report Production Data with Sales or Purchase Data. Maintains and provides a variety of reports, spreadsheets for area of responsibility. Maintains Gauge Report/Production/Sales files. Maintains physical files in a neat and orderly system for utilization by company personnel. Provides assistance to other departments or Operational groups by providing Production, Sales, and Injection data as needed or required. Provides assistance to the Production Operations Department and Engineers as needed. Provides assistance to the Production Services Group as special projects dictate. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication skills, both written and oral Proficient computer skills Proven team player Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Two (2) or more years of accounting, SCADA, measurement or data analysis experience SQL, advanced Excel, Microsoft Access, or Spotfire An acceptable pre-employment drug screen & background check Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university Previous experience with Oil & Gas Production Accounting, Revenue Accounting, SCADA, Measurement, or Data Analysis Physical Requirements Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
