If you are a passionate, customer interfacing Teams Voice engineer, looking for an opportunity to leverage your skills with a team of likeminded Teams obsessives, we want to talk to you! This will be an India-based contract position working our EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) shift. We are offering 15000-17000 INR/day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide engineering support for the VoIP network infrastructure and Microsoft UC services to include TDM and SIP-based trunks, voice routing, configuration, and Microsoft Unified Communications
- Serve as an escalated Tier 3 resource for customer incidents and work orders for Continuant Managed Services including voice network infrastructure and devices
- As required, provide cross-training and mentoring across Tier 1 and 2 engineering teams
- Create and maintains technical documentation in support of both direct customer environments and the technical knowledge base (including development of necessary knowledge articles and associated training documentation)
- Conduct Microsoft Teams Network Assessments for Teams voice deployments as required
- Collaborate with Day 0/1 teams to make recommendations to Continuant for operational readiness to deliver and manage Microsoft solutions
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues for Continuant Teams customers
- Support on-call rotation staff in the facilitation of after-hours work functions associated with upgrades, patches, installations, and major incident support
- Partner closely with Continuant customers to ensure positive customer experience
You’ll Be Successful With:
- Expert level knowledge of all Microsoft Teams Voice offerings
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Phone with Calling Plans, Direct routing, and Operator Connect
- Demonstrated experience in the design, configuration, long-term planning, operational support, and project management of large telecommunications and voice systems and associated data networks
- Established experience supporting Ribbon and AudioCodes Session Border Controllers
- Advanced knowledge of VLANs, switchport configuration, layer two networking, and QoS
- Advanced knowledge of the following protocols: SIP, TLS, H.323
- Technical working understanding of structured cabling, LAN/WAN circuits including PRI, SIP, MPLS, FXo, FXS, and POTS
- Strong PowerShell skills, preferential secondary skills
- Hands-on experience in Active Directory, load balancing, reverse proxy, DNS, certificates, and related components

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in client facing roles
- Deep commitment to customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and vendors
- Ability to work with consistent evolving working priorities and deadlines
- Willing and able to act as an escalation point for major outages and priority customer engagements as assigned
- Awareness and understanding of interoperability with other major voice and hardware OEM’s such has Avaya, Cisco, and Polycom
- ITIL operational awareness and understanding
