Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses
- Current state of Massachusetts LPN license
- Previous experience in office or insurance verification preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Receives patient referrals and determines appropriateness for home care services
- Organizes all aspects of the referral process
- Verifies insurance coverage for home care services, pursuing authorization, if required , for the initial assessment visit
- Completes and submits all necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Accepts and documents MD orders
