Position Summary
The Patient Advisor provides services to patients who have been scheduled for gastroenterology procedures. The Patient Advisor provides necessary preparation materials to the patient as indicated by the physician along with preparation related support.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Make outbound phone calls
- Answer frequently asked questions
- Process orders via secure website
- Provide superior customer service
- Related administrative functions as needed
Qualifications or Education, Training and Experience
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- General computer skills and word processing skills are required.
- Experience in a high call volume environment.
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- Must pass background check

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping people
- Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and/or the general public.
