Job Summary:
This role is a key position in the CFI Finance Department, reporting to the Finance Director. The role will perform monthly book close functions including journal entries, G/L analysis, account reconciliations and reporting.


Essential Functions:
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries as part of the month end closing processes
  • Perform account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
  • Compile and distribute miscellaneous financial reports
  • Compile and record monthly accounting transactions
  • Provide detailed financial data and analysis upon request
  • Assist with special projects
  • Provide financial information to internal and external auditors upon request
  • Identify areas to simplify and/or automate processes to drive efficiency

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years accounting experience preferred
  • Familiar with the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently on tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
