What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual medical assistant position at Conviva?
Job Functions :
- Prepares exam room, equipment and supplies needed prior / during patient examination
- Prepares patient for consultation, taking / documenting vital signs (temp, BP, HR, RR) etc.
- Draws blood, collects specimens and administers injections
- Proficient in EMR process'
- Works closely with Doctor(s)
Required Qualifications :
- Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from a Medical Assistant program (or equivalent experience as a medical professional)
- 1 year or more of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
Preferred Qualifications :
- Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience with HEDIS
Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
