This position is responsible for tracking, trending, and analyzing quality and operational metrics specific to nursing care and practice. The Quality Performance Improvement Coordinator will implement processes to ensure that quality metrics are accessible and in an easily understood format for nursing employees and organizational leaders. This person may be involved in facilitating teams and identifying possible strategies to improve patient and organizational outcomes including nurse-sensitive indicators and other measures.
Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arkansas
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
CPHQ certified or completion of certification within one year of eligibility
Minimum five years of experience in nursing
Minimum of three years of experience in nursing quality, management or education preferred
Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
