What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at The Timberline?
Become a member of our housekeeping team! The position is five days a week (actual days will vary week to week), 9 : 30 AM 3 : 30 PM.
HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Top-to-bottom room cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, small kitchens, and bed making.
- Notify the team if a room has excessive mess or damaged items.
- Replenish consumable items where necessary.
- Laundry support
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Efficient, able to adhere to quick turnaround times without sacrificing quality
- The position required limited interaction with guests, but candidates should be able to be kind, helpful, and professional with all guests on the property.

- Is able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Possesses a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

The compensation for this position is $14.42 per hour, including onsite housing. All housing costs, including utilities, TV, and internet, are included in the payment, and their estimated value is $900 per month.
You will have your own furnished room with a bed, TV, and mini-fridge. In addition to this, the employee house also includes :
- A shared kitchen.
- Bathroom.
- Living and dining room.
- Deck with incredible views of Mount Massive and Pikes Peak.
The house is fully furnished with linens, dining furniture, a TV, couches, dishes, pots, and pans. The kitchen is equipped with nearly new appliances, such as an oven, microwave, and refrigerator.
Both the motel and the house are conveniently located near Harrison Avenue, the main street of downtown Leadville.
Note that our busiest days are on weekends, and we cannot grant additional time off in July or August due to high demand during our summer season.
We are looking to hire and additional team member to join our staff of 5. We are in the middle of busy season and looking for someone who can start immediately.
