QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and documentation of interior hospitality projects (all phases).
- Registered Architect (preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited architectural program with Bachelor’s level degree.
- Strong understanding of building systems and documentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Communicate with team, clients and consultant/contractor representatives effectively.
- Proficiency with required computer software (Revit, Autocad, Photoshop).
- Assist Project Architect in coordinating necessary tasks for a variety of projects.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of all project related assignments.
- Prepare and produce design and construction documents, including enlarged millwork details.
- Translate design concepts into floor and furniture plans, building assemblies and material/product specifications.
- Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
- Promote a collaborative team environment.
- Complete research as needed.
- Participate as appropriate in contract administration.
- Travel to Project Job Site or Design Office as required to facilitate design and construction under the direction of the Project Architect.
- Contribute as required to the overall quality and success of the project, studio and firm.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
