General Company Bookkeeper
We are Cooperative Home Care, a locally owned and operated homecare company that has been helping our clients to live their most confident and fulfilling lives at home for over 36 years. We are seeking a General Company Bookkeeper to work from our St. Louis office.
You will work closely with our Operations Team to make sure you know your clients’ specific needs, the company financial priorities, and the processes we use to successfully record and monitor our company’s monetary concerns. We are seeking someone with recent direct and successful office bookkeeping experience who is confident in his or her ability to stay focused and take initiative to handle payroll tasks that effect multiple aspects of the home caregiving process, always in a timely and efficient manner.

General Company Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Recording daily financial transactions, updating a general ledger and preparing trial balances for perusal by accountants.
- Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance. They
- Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in taking strategic decisions.
- Bookkeeper may also assist in running payroll and generating invoices, as well as other duties as assigned.
- Meet deadlines and requirements/regulations for all funding sources.
General Company Bookkeeper Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptionally positive attitude and listening skills in both the office and field.
- Highly organized and flexible management abilities in a fast-paced office.
- 3 years minimum payroll and billing experience.
