Coordinated Care Services Inc is seeking a Director of Community Resources who can build stronger, more inclusive support programs for individuals facing the challenges of mental illness, chemical dependency, or developmental disabilities with new and current allies within Hamilton County. The Director of Community Services is tasked with addressing the challenge of planning, coordinating, and operationalizing the program. The Hamilton County Community Services Board (HCCSB) has partnered with Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) to identify a Director of Community Services who will be employed by Hamilton County.


This executive-level role can offer you

  • A market competitive compensation-$90,000-$110,000 annually.

As the Director of Community Services, you will be

  • Establish, monitor, and improve comprehensive programs that meet the needs of mentally ill, developmentally disabled, and substance use disorder treatment and prevention clients.
  • Lead a team of professional, paraprofessional, administrative and clerical staff.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary allies (e.g. law enforcement, schools, Department of Social Services) to meet client and community needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Hamilton County Community Services Board (HCCSB) to evaluate and improve program services.
  • Collaborating and leading other initiatives as provided under the scope of the role.

Requirements

  • MD with board certification/eligibility in psychiatry, neurology, or pediatrics with a license to practice in New York State; OR  
  • PSY.D / Ph.D. in Psychology with a license to practice as a Psychologist in New York State; OR 
  • MSW in social work with a license to practice as a master social worker or clinical social worker in New York State; OR 
  • MA in psychiatric mental health nursing with a license to practice in New York State as a Registered Nurse; OR and shall be licensed by the New York State Education Department as a registered nurse; OR 
  • MA in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, social work, public health administration, public administration, hospital administration, human services administration, business administration, or other equivalent degrees as determined by a curriculum reviewed and approved by the New York State Education Department; AND  Ph.D or MD; OR MA and minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical and/or administrative experience in a governmental, private, not-for-profit, or proprietary program providing services for people diagnosed with a developmental or learning disability, people living with a mental illness, or people living with a substance use disorder; two (2) years which shall include functioning in an administrative capacity for the management of a program in which the candidate was responsible for the overall direction and control of an identifiable organizational unit or program.


Additional Requirements

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a clinical service setting; AND
  • A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
