This position is located at our Copa Ridge Location in Mesa, AZ, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.
WHO WE NEED:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide support and administrative assistance necessary for the effective provision of services to members, teams, and the departments. Assist Community Support Services management staff in implementing a consistent and quality program in accordance with the agency’s mission statement, with an emphasis on maintaining the orderly functioning of services through the implementation of current procedures and applicable standards and regulations. Assist with the implementation and development of a quality program which promotes person-centered planning and active treatment practices.
.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires any combination of training, education, and/or experience equal to a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clerical/administrative experience required.
- Previous work experience in a position working in a medical or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Successful completion of Copa’s training program meeting the requirements of contracted funding sources; the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and/or Department of Health Services (DHS.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and any other required background checks, including drug screen testing.
- Ability to meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements set forth by Copa’s insurance company, (Arizona Driver’s license upon hire, 39-month MVR, proof of insurance and vehicle registration), if applicable.
- Bi-Lingual, preferred
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to)
- Complete administrative tasks according to assigned timelines to include, but not limited to: Accounts payable and accounts receivable for residents, complete payroll duties. Complete internal audits relating to employee payroll, contract billing. Attend meetings and actively participate in internal and external committees.
- Observe for and immediately respond to any reported health and safety concerns or violations, and process and report incidents or accident reports accurately and on time.
- Provide program staff with training, guidance and support regarding individual financial summaries, payroll, and other areas as necessary.
- Ensure the accurate completion of administrative tasks as assigned to include, within timelines, but not limited to support plan documentation, site files, program documentation, transportation logs, case record requirements, daily assignment logs, IT requests, and general record keeping.
- Coordinate program information and contribute to the successful resolution of challenges.
- Provide DSP services as needed that are person centered, incorporate active treatment, are developmentally/age appropriate, culturally sensitive and show respect and dignity.
