Who We Need
The Finance Director (Finance Operations) is responsible for overseeing and managing all finance operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reimbursements. This role ensures the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, compliance with financial policies and regulations, and provides leadership and direction to the finance operations team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in non-profit accounting and knowledge of fund accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee the payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and internal policies.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll inquiries.
- Supervise the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Oversee the accounts receivable function to ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of receivables.
- Manage credit control processes and resolve any issues related to payments.
- Develop strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
- Manage the expense reimbursement process, ensuring adherence to company policies and timely reimbursement of employee expenses.
- Review and approve expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the finance operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Participates in recruitment, selection, hiring, training, professional development and performance evaluation and management of assigned staff.
- Ensure ongoing training and development of the finance operations team to maintain high standards of performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of finance operations.
- Utilize technology and automation to streamline financial processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial operations with overall business objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding matters of finance operations.
- Support the CFO in financial planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Adherence to all agency policies, licensure, and training requirements.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
