What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Multi-Car Transporter position at Copart?
Copart is seeking transport Drivers for a newly delivered fleet of Dually Trucks & "Hot-Shot" Multi-Car Trailers.
These drivers will support the local Copart facility in moving vehicles to other Copart yards, customer pickups, and deliveries. During special projects or catastrophe assignments, the driver will be deployed to various locations across the country to assist in Catastrophe Response (hurricane, hail, flooding). Routine overnight travel is expected to be 25% of the time and catastrophe response travel will be mandatory and variable in length.
Hard work pays off. The right person could earn up to $80,000 with our commission-based pay.

- Towing, vehicle and/or heavy equipment transport experience.
- Preference to those who possess a CDL-A License

Need assistance obtaining your CDL-A license? Copart will pay for and train you to be successful. Requires one-year commitment once CDL is paid for - (Repayment required if the obligation is not met)

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Load/unload vehicles safely for local pick-up and delivery
- Travel nationally on short notice - Catastrophe deployments will be mandatory
- Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily auctions
