Under the direction of the Director of Operations - BluCar, the Operations Manager is responsible for providing direction, coaching, and support to enable /- 20 team members in a corporate sales environment to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators. By understanding Copart/BluCar policies and practices, the Operations Manager will help create a positive and productive work environment that will maximize individual and team performance and results.

- Interview and select new team members; facilitate onboarding and new hire training.
- Monitor employee adherence to work schedule, including clocking in and out according to start/end times for shift and meal periods; ensure strict compliance to overtime restrictions. Address all non-compliance issues with appropriate coaching and corrective action.
- Communicate individual and team performance expectations; reinforce frequently in meetings and via email; monitor activities daily and use appropriate coaching, re-training and corrective action to address unsatisfactory individual and team performance and/or behavior.
- Arrange for and/or conduct training meetings on skills and information needed to meet seller expectations and individual/team performance expectations; involve management in training as needed.
- Based on input from management team, set appropriate team goals for month-over-month and year-over-year assignment and sales growth; track monthly to ensure consistency on a per-seller basis.
- Provide regular updates to management on any employee or team issues that are having a negative impact on individual or team productivity and/or morale.
- Provide data and information to management team to include in monthly reviews with all teams.
- Work with management on various types of reporting that will provide accurate and transparent views of individual and team activities and results.
- Conduct monthly 1-on-1 and team meetings to discuss goals, progress, the work environment and other issues that will have a positive effect on performance, commitment and retention.
- Communicate recommendations to management regarding process and/or system modifications.
- Build relationships with all seller customers under your management.
- High School diploma/GED required, some college preferred
- Call Center Management experience
- Two or more years' experience supervising employees in a call center environment, preferably for a sales organization
- Experience interviewing, selecting and training new employees
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
