Copart is seeking a Strategic Analyst to help provide vision and commitment to key Copart business initiatives through the application of data-driven decision making. The Strategic Analyst will work with business and technology partners to ensure the overall coordination and execution of project deliverables and schedules. Must have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and attention to detail.

- Ability to apply statistical analysis to help guide the development of business initiatives.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Maintain knowledge of our business operations while understanding the technical scope and objectives of assigned programs and associated projects.
- Negotiate, develop, and maintain project plans, and establish timeframes with business and technology partners.
- Coordinate and track project action items, issues, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Follow the program and project development process to ensure all deliverables are met with superior quality.
- Assure that programs and projects achieve desired business and technical objectives in the required timeline.
- 2 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in a quantitative discipline
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization best practices in Tableau, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Adept at queries, and report writing preferred (SQL, etc., R or Python is a plus)
- Proven ability to multi-task, work well in an ever-changing environment, and interact with a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
