POSITION OPENING

TITLE: Supervisor of Special Education

DESCRIPTION: Supervisor of Special Education will provide supervision and support for CCISD Special Education ancillary staff, programs paraprofessionals and local district staff. Provide academic and behavioral support and coordination of services for CCISD

Learning Center students. Use of leadership, collaborative and interpersonal skills to support sound educational programs/services. There will be two Supervisors of Special Education to share the duties.

QUALIFICATIONS: Full approval or endorsement in at least one area of special education. Masters degree or equivalent in Educational Administration. Three years of successful experience in special education. Must have or be able to obtain Special Education Supervisor’s approval. Knowledge of the needs of students with disabilities. Knowledge regarding state and federal special education requirements and demonstrated ability in the area of service coordination and interagency collaboration.

SALARY: Schedule as negotiated by Master Contract

LENGTH: 220 days

STARTING DATE: July 1, 2022
