Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Architect to join our team in support of a contract. This position will be directly supporting the DCSA. The Systems Architect will develop and maintain high-level architectural designs and other artifacts to guide and document Agile development activities and products.
This work can be performed at Hanover, MD or Quantico, VA with the opportunity for telework.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Produce designs based on loosely coupled, open systems architecture tenets
- Perform logical architectural modeling in the NBIS PMO tool
- Model the NBIS integrated architecture and system interfaces, in order to identify the risks associated with the implementation of a new capability, system or subsystem
- Format architectural products in accordance with the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF)
- collect and publish enterprise systems architectural and design data to include architectural drivers and tradeoffs; architecture description, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPS); systems functionality and relationships; systems threads; end-to-end behavior of systems to meet objectives, including flow of control information; principles for behavior; and risk

- AWS Solutions Architect Certification preferred
- Skills/Experience:
- 5 year’s experience in systems architecture design
- 5 year’s experience working within the DoD
Salary : $126,000 - $160,000
