Apply the Six Sigma Methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and Lean Manufacturing tools to continuous improvement efforts to achieve financial and customer benefits Establishes processes, benchmarks, tracking systems, timelines, and procedures for implementation of best practices. Enforces accountability with all functional groups for implementation of best practices and high performing factory initiatives. Develops and sustains a continuous improvement culture in the organization. Actively participates in a continuous improvement network to share best practices. Communicates progress and results as required, ensuring an on-going training discipline to maintain improvements Mentor and teach Six Sigma Green Belts in utilizing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques Collaborate with Six Sigma leadership teams and Champions to identify improvement opportunities and establish project goals, strategies, & priorities Provide oversight of the plant training systems and procedures. What You'll Need: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Food/Beverage/Pharmaceutical or related industry as Supervisor/Manager Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Business Administration or Food Science, or equivalent experience Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations with dedication to the concepts of continuous improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access database functions and familiarity with Minitab or other statistical analysis software Ability to manage multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously Who We Are: You might have our iconic cranberry juice in your fridge or have gotten into heated holiday debate about what’s better - canned or fresh cranberry sauce.
