District Manager-
The District Manager’s primary function is to perform outside sales of product inventory while driving an assigned route of accounts. The DM is responsible for increasing product sales and placement of product displays at all large and small format “off premise” stores. DM’s are responsible for upselling inventory, cooler space, and product displays.
MANAGEMENT/SALES
Manage the relationship with the customer contact accounts.
Determine current and ongoing product needs at accounts and look for ways to increase sales.
Coach and train, DSDs, Delivery Drivers, Merchandisers & Pre-Sales personnel.
Ensure that all personnel have clean and in good working equipment.
Perform outside sales functions.
Other duties as assigned.
Work under minimal supervision.
Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with your customers to increase sales and selling space.
Evaluate all competitors’ activities such as new launches and price reductions and communicate with VP of Sales.
Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPI‘s) focused on the following areas: sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts and other merchandising components.
Build and train personnel proper rotation of our dairy products to ensure fresh product is always available.
Control inventory, credits, place orders for new inventory, receive weekly inventory and ensure the warehouse is rotated properly.
Ensure that the Company policies, standards, and operating procedures are being followed.

Job Requirements
- Must be Fluent in English & Spanish.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Food industry experience a
- Grocery Store background very helpful.
- Ability to communicate.
- Ability to build healthy relationships with brokers, distributors, and grocery stores at all levels.
- Education sufficient to perform assigned duties accurately and professionally.
- Sound written, verbal, and computer skills.
- Organizational skills.

- Forward thinking
- Reliable follow up and follow through.
- Person must reside in the Houston area or surrounding areas.
- Professional maintenance of high moral and ethical standards.
PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to stand, walk and sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Exposed to outside weather conditions.
Daily/Regularly operate a motor vehicle.
Responsible for overall safety and safe operation of motor vehicle.
