IT Support Specialist

We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team. You will be based in Blair, Nebraska, and part of the North American IT Infrastructure regional team. You will be responsible for collaborating with global IT team members and supporting end users through a centralized service desk model.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily IT operations, supporting end users, and addressing business demands at the Blair, Nebraska location.
• Coordinate the change management process and ensures compliance with service desk SLAs for end-user support.
• Manage local IT systems (in a Windows hybrid environment) and local network devices and coordinate changes with global network teams.
• Oversee IT operations, including system backups, maintenance, systems patching, planned power outages, desktop/laptop imaging, and new system implementation.
• Provide best-in-class helpdesk services to business users and keeps them informed of progress.
• Coordinate with helpline teams and provide information on SOPs guidance about services delivered.
• As part of the North America IT infrastructure, you will support remote end-users.
• Assists other team members on regional/local projects.
• Provide support to local departments with special requirements, such as the board, VIP, and HR departments.
• Deploy and ensure compliance with the global security policy and applicable guidelines and regulations regarding security at the designated sites.
• Coordinate with other regional colleagues to standardize services and introduce new ideas and efficiency improvements for better customer care.
• Other duties as determined by business needs

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications required to perform the job successfully:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in the technical/computer field.
• CompTIA certifications, ITIL 4 Foundation, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), and Cisco CCNA certification are preferred.
• Solid understanding of end users' computing imaging and troubleshooting through MS Intune and Ivanti.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, Mesh VPNs, ISP, and WAN Equipment.
• Core understanding of SAP ERP technology.
• Knowledge of lab equipment software installations.
• Knowledge of Industrial Operations Technology SCADA software and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of telecommunication systems and components, including VoIP technologies.
• Knowledge of server virtualization technology platforms and systems.
• Able to collaborate with regional and global IT team to solve issues.
• Knowledge of desktop/notebook imaging.
• Foundation in project management.
• Requires travel up to 25%, based on projects and/or team meetings.

Working Conditions:
The job is a full-time onsite position based in the Blair, Nebraska office, with occasional travel to other Corbion facilities for projects or team meetings.
