Why this role is unique
The Cyber Program Director collaborates with client members, U.S. Government partners, and technology providers to assess and communicate cyber threats in the financial services sector. Leveraging network defense expertise, the Director engages with partners at a technical level on threat actor operations, guiding data collection and analysis to mitigate risks. This role coordinates with industry and government in various forums, driving the intelligence cycle from collection to actor analysis, developing new information sources, conducting threat research, and providing strategic warnings, analyses, and briefings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and tactical warning on cyber threats and vulnerabilities to member firms and systemically relevant critical infrastructure.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with member firms' intelligence teams and U.S. Government cyber partners to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Develop a unified approach to data acquisition, analysis, and early warning for critical cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Engage in technical discussions using frameworks such as the MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis.
- Deliver clear written products and briefings tailored to the intelligence teams of member firms and to non-cyber experts within these organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in evaluating the technical aspects of cyber threats and vulnerabilities and knowledge of the information required to mitigate operational risks and address ongoing or potential threat actor operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
- A current TS-SCI clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship and a background check are required.
