SAMPLE CUSTODIAN I
SUMMARY
Assists in performing sample inventory management and administrative duties by performing the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains sample inventories, company vehicles, and shop areas.
- Prepares and ships packages and samples via Federal Express, UPS, RPS, etc. on an as-needed basis.
- Data entry and maintenance of sample database using Excel and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Trains co-workers in any aspects of sample management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required; or one to three months’ of related experience and/or training preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access).
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain organization’s safety course requirements.

Salary : $27,300 - $34,500
