Summary/Objective
To manage the Quality Assurance Department in such a manner to ensure quality products and services from our suppliers and throughout our in-house manufacturing processes, so as to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Essential Functions

To develop, implement and monitor an effective quality assurance system.
To ensure timely and effective response to customer quality issues.
To ensure the effective development and monitoring of suppliers.
To develop and communicate CMC quality performance measures, internally and externally.
To effectively manage and utilize the Quality Assurance Organization.
Actively use and grow our IATF 16949, ISO9001 certified program.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages all employees of Quality Engineering department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees in that department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional manufacturing office and shop floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position may occasionally require extended hours and/or weekend work.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Active working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and other related programs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, plan, and solve problems.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach, develop QA department personnel and plant personnel.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and get the job done IATF 16949, ISO14001, and ISO9001 knowledge.
4 -6 years QA Mgr. Experience 10 years QA experience.
Preferred Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Plastics background (SMC desirable).
6 Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training.
Kaizen experience.

Salary : $73,600 - $93,100
