Immediate Opening in Occupational Medicine We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Spring, TX area. This is a full-time position with a highly competitive salary and benefits package. **Job Responsibilities:** • Perform pre-placement physical examinations for new hires • Provide medical assessments and health services to employees who become ill or injured at work • Perform return to work assessments to ensure fitness for duty and a safe workplace environment • Perform fitness for duty evaluations • Assist with coordination of care, physician referrals, and transitional duty programs • Provide medical review of surveillance and immunization records • Maintain professional growth and development through approved seminars and workshops **Requirements:** • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program • National Board Certification • Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with the state of Texas • Previous experience practicing in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine is desirable **Competencies:** • Knowledge of medical practice and occupational health • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail • Excellent people skills, ability to motivate and cooperate with others • Ability to analyze and interpret data to evaluate clinical performance • Knowledge of EMR systems and computer applications **Benefits:** • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) plan • Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave • Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement • Paid CME days on an annual basis • Cell phone allowance
