What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at Core One?
Core One seeks an experienced Director of Operations to join our growing team. The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of Core One’s programs, ensuring that they are managed and performing efficiently and effectively. The Director of Operations has the authority and is responsible for ensuring operational and administrative oversight, compliance, and accountability for all personnel supporting and performing on contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and ensure all program deliverables are provided accurately and timely to clients in conjunction with and as required by contractual statements of work.
- Improve customer service and satisfaction across all our programs, by leveraging capabilities throughout the company.
- Supervise and manage Program Directors and Program Managers, including professional development, training, and mentoring.
- Lead and direct members of the Operations team on the performance and execution of the contracts’ statement of work, to include staffing and contract deliverables.
- Communicate with the Corporate Support team to ensure adequate resources are provided to programs to meet deliverables on-time.
- Receive and executive high-level recurring and ad hoc tasking on behalf of Executive Team.
- Attend Executive Team meetings to ensure cross-functionality across the company.
- Ensure plans, budgets and project controls are in place for meeting contract deliverables and financial objectives of each program.
- Train and mentor Program Managers for developing key talent, client delivery, business development, meeting program deliverables and financial targets.
- Promote business development objectives across all our programs and ensure cross-functionality with Client Solutions team.
- Manage and oversee new contract start-ups and transitions.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10 years of experience managing programs in Government contracting for IC and/or SOF customers.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior managerial and supervisorial skills.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- PMP certification
- Active TS/SCI or higher clearance
