What You Get To Do:
- Assists with audits and routine inspections. Accurately prepares, completes and maintains required forms, records, and accreditation files.
- Complies with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards, and/or contract.
- Using appropriate grammar and spelling, routinely composes and creates documents, to include letters, memoranda, reports, correspondence, forms and statistical data.
- Inputs text accurately and produces finished documents efficiently using word processing and spreadsheet programs. Copies, compiles and distributes finished documents as necessary.
- Communicates effectively with internal staff and external contacts. Professionally responds to verbal/written inquiries and requests or refers to appropriate staff member.
- Reads and comprehends correspondence, policies, regulations, procedures, reports, directions for form completion and other moderately complex documents.
- Assists the facility's Quality Assurance Manager with other audit, inspection, accreditation and compliance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
- One year of experience in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Quality Assurance, Accreditation or a related field is required.
- Additional qualifying education in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Quality Assurance or a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Good written communication skills and analytical ability required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
