Cornell Pump is seeking an IoT Strategist. This position is an exempt, remote position.

The annual salary pay range is $80,000 - $140,000 (DOE)

This candidate will be part of an exciting new product development team, providing high-tech monitoring, telematics, and automation equipment to new and existing customer bases. The perfect candidate will be able to perform these essential duties:

Under general supervision, with some latitude for un-reviewed action, this position will interact directly with our sales, engineering, and procurement teams as a strategic resource for new business and product opportunities.

This position requires proficient telephone and computer work with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills.  Coordinates with a wide variety of channels including, but not limited to sales, accounting, legal, operations, and engineering. Candidate should be technically adept at handling questions related to mechanical, electrical, software, and other aspects of the product line. Experience with IoT and related systems is required.

This position will act as a liaison between multiple departments and help guide the efforts of customer-driven new products. A candidate with a “CAN-DO” attitude and who enjoys problem-solving with customer applications is imperative.

Other aspects of the role may include direct interaction with customers. This will require quick response rates and precise attention to detail. May require taking critical calls or responding to important emails outside of normal business hours if necessary.

This position will be 100% remote with quarterly visits back to the factory in Clackamas, OR. The candidate may have opportunities to travel for occasional customer visits, vendor visits, and tradeshows.

The ability to communicate with a variety of technical levels is key, as many of our customers come from a variety of backgrounds and experience.

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge and experience with PC and web-based programs

Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with ERP systems is a plus

Experience and knowledge of electronics and mechanical equipment is a plus

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
