About the Role:
As an Advisory Committee Support Lead supporting our Federal government client, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the operations of the Advisory Committee by developing materials, coordinating outreach, and supporting the selection process of committee members.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and create recruiting, vetting, outreach, selection, and presentation materials for the Committee membership.
- Support committee outreach activities to federal and private stakeholders regarding committee selection and execution.
- Review existing committee documents and collaborate with designated officials to understand accomplished work.
- Develop a schedule and Gantt Chart reflecting completed and upcoming work up to a specified timeline.
- Assist in routing, reviewing, approving, and signing existing committee documents such as Charter, Membership Lists, and Membership agreements.
- Identify, vet, contact, document, and communicate with prescribed representatives.
- Maintain detailed records of all aspects of every committee meeting from initial announcement through approval of meeting minutes and related documents.
- Support the process for candidate selection and appointment.
- Design outreach processes to engage potential Committee candidates.
- Ensure each candidate fits within statutory requirements by tracking and categorizing their expertise.
- Create matrices to discern candidate qualification gaps to support interagency meetings and consultations.
- Conduct regular meetings with the client lead to discuss upcoming deadlines and strategize approaches for committee activities.

Location:
You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience working with Federal government clients.
- Familiarity with advisory committee processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
