About us
Cornerstone Café is a nonprofit cafe located inside Cornerstone Church in Orangeburg, SC.
```Duties```
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed
```Experience```
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
Operational Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30AM-3PM and Sunday Mornings
Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds. Additionally, all applicants must be at least 18 years old and have legal authorization to work in the country.
