This paid intern opportunity will give a student the ability to gain real-world experience in the field of corporate financial planning & analysis in a global multinational enterprise. The ideal candidate will be preparing for a career in corporate finance and will have experience using the Microsoft Suite of software applications. The candidate will assist the Global FP&A department in routine and strategic tasks. 
 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Corporate deliverables – assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly closing requirements. 
  • Assist in preparing reports for financial plans and operating forecasts for specific corporate functions (G&A) and total company 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including working with others on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support forecasts, monthly and quarterly performance reporting of actuals vs. budget
  • Help coordinate the monitoring of & processes related to Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Drive a project to completion and present it to senior management

Required Skills & Experience
Experience: Must be currently enrolled in a related accredited university program, working towards a bachelor's degree. Finance focus/major is preferred. 
Education: Completion of at least 3 years of college courses

  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookup, charts, graphs, formulas and financial functions)
  • Professional workplace communication skills
  • Understanding of financial planning, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work on-site in Liberty Lake, with hybrid schedule flexibility
  • Experience using digital workplace collaboration tools and resources (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a masters level finance/accounting program
  • Completion of advanced corporate finance courses
  • Prior corporate finance experience
  • Experience using Oracle

Travel: 0 - 10%
 

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
 

The successful candidate’s starting hourly wage will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. 
Washington State: The hourly wage range is $15.38 – $34.62. This position is also eligible for paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more!
