SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:


The function of the Regional Sales Manager is to support the sales effort at Integral Hospitality Solutions hotels that have revenue challenges.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:


A.Directly impact the sales effort of assigned hotels by conducting research into demand generators in assigned markets and doing an immersive local sales effort for 2-3 weeks. Establish relationships between assigned hotels and prospects, prepare proposals and contracts, and oversee local sales effort of hotel sales manager/general manager.


  • Coordinate efforts with General Manager, Vice President of Operations, Directors of Operations and Revenue Manager. Attend hotel revenue calls when not traveling.


  • Ensure that effective outside and inside sales systems are in place at each hotel.


  • Work closely with General Manager and or the Sales Department of each managed hotel to ensure that they have proper training and are directed appropriately. This includes all brand required training.


  • Bullet point email on Friday each week on behalf of all assigned hotels to Directors of Operations and Vice President of Operations for Integral.


  • Conduct short coordination call on bi-weekly basis with each assigned hotels stakeholders.


  • Review all weekly sales reports and comment, forwarding to GM, sales, owner and operations team after review.


  • Coordination and assistance with all local Sales Blitzes, reservation call center presentations and travel agency blitzes.


  • Ensure that leads and RFP answering procedures are in place and followed consistently.


  • Assist Vice President of Operations and Directors of Operations with writing and reviewing the marketing plan each year.


  • Assist with hotel takeovers to evaluate the sales department and set action plans. Do a deep dive on the online presence and make changes as necessary.


  • Ensure all mileage and expense forms are completed correctly and turned in by the first business day of the month after the expenses are incurred. Ensure that all American Express receipts are tagged with receipts in the app or on the AMEX website by the end of each day.


  • Stay up to date on all brand sales and marketing strategies. Determine which programs will be productive for the hotels and ensure systematic implementation. Read all brand sales and marketing related materials on a regular basis. Attend appropriate brand functions as approved.


  • Set deadlines and follow up for local compliance of all sales related activities.


  • Ensure each hotels website, photos, brand program, and electronic sales activities exceed standards and expectations.


  • Ensure that current sales and meeting room contracts are up to standards and being utilized.


  • Oversee Hilton Delphi software platform and ensure hotels are using this program. Also ensure any new hires are signed up and complete training.


  • Oversee Expedia Ads for hotels that are participating in this program.


  • Must stay on top of Hilton Fast Pay Program and ensure contracts for all properties are turned in on time and fees are not placed on the hotels. Must run through pick up in Fast Pay and ensure this complete for all Hilton Hotels.


  • Assist with new hotel opening sales and opening paperwork with new brand or re-branding.


  • This position requires travel that will be a min. of two weeks out of the month.


  • Must be able to communicate verbally and through email with owners on a regular basis updating them on the sales efforts at their hotels.


  • Oversee Meeting Broker and ensure the brands goals are met for each property. Must be able to work and coach all sales managers and GMs.


  • Oversee RFPs and review fact sheet prior to being submitted during RFP for all properties.


  • Attend any brand or Integral training when called to do so.


  • During property visits, nightly parking lot shops must be completed along with findings in a email afterward with agenda for each lead.


  • Must complete property sales report within 3 days of leaving the property and send to ownership, GM and Directors.


  • Must schedule and work around sales conference calls with Brand and Jacaruso or other third party sales groups.


  • Must be able to attend revenue management calls when called to do.


  • Oversee Sam.gov and renew members that are up for renewal.


  • Must understand how 3rd party booking channels are managed and work with the properties to ensure their information is updated, fresh and ensure that each property understands how to claim and work booking.com and other platforms.


  • Other Duties as assigned.
