What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting and Administrative Assistant position at Corporate Technology Consultants?
We are an IT firm located in Lake Dallas. We have clients in the DFW area as well as through Central and South Texas. As a Managed Services Provider, we provide IT and phone services to small to medium sized businesses. We are looking to add an Accounting Administrative Assistant to our team to assist the owners and tech staff.
This is an in-person position.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience using QuickBooks
- Prefer QuickBooks Online Experience
- Confident self-starter that needs little direction
- Must be able to learn and adapt on the fly
- Familiarity with technology and software including:
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel experience
- MS 365
- Printers and Scanners
- Adobe
- Basic troubleshooting
- Top-notch communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail oriented but knows how to communicate the appropriate level of detail to team members
- Project management
- Experience with tech support and/or computer and networking hardware is a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing Payments in QuickBooks
- Creating and managing invoices for customers
- Creating and monitoring tickets in the ticket system
- Expense Reports and reconciling bank accounts
- Running reports and manipulating data
- Data entry
- Research
- Marketing
- Coordinating meetings
- Running errands
- Answering phones and routing calls
- Managing company vehicles to insure the maintenance and records are up to date.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)
- Admin Assistant: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
