This role will be instrumental in attracting and recruiting top talent for our rapidly expanding company! It is a hands-on role in a fun, exciting and collaborative environment. In addition, this individual will be responsible for continually identifying and implementing best practices. The Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist is responsible for meeting hiring & training goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. Managing the entire life cycle of the recruiting and onboarding process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time-to-time.
Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline continually seeking new sourcing options
Lead and champion efforts to obtain passive candidates with industry experience, proactively networking and establishing effective working relationships
Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing virtual qualification interviews
Assist in candidate experience by designing, managing job postings, summaries, and ad requirements
Perform reference, education and background screenings, as needed
Schedules interviews for team and management as assigned; maintains continuous communication with candidates throughout the entire interview process
Suggest course improvements based on experience with facilitating our content and continuous enhancements to our proprietary software programs.
Facilitate the offer process by extending offers and discussing employment terms
Manage onboarding and new hire process
Possess exceptional independent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and technical abilities
Stay updated of latest recruiting trends and best practices
Attend job fairs to develop relationships and network for additional opportunities
Manage the overall interview, selection and closing processes
Facilitate training (proprietary & third-party programs and/or skill-based presentations), metric-driven results and overall ROI
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Travel both individually and with a team up to 25% on average, pursuing conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting
Focuses on management team expectations and commits to continuous improvement
Meet and exceed objectives as assigned
Candidate Requirements: Self-motivated, positive, outgoing, personable, and able to relate well with diverse populations and age groups; tactful, mature, and flexible. Regardless of experience we are confident in our ability to train you.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and written

Professional with proven time management skills
Strong facilitation skills both live in-person and live-virtual environments
Available to travel individually and with a team up to 25% on average
Bachelor's Degree required (majors preferred: communications, marketing, business management, human resources)
This role is full-time in-office/on-site. Candidates must be able to meet this requirement to be considered.
