Financial Data Analyst II - Remote

Position summary: This position is responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization. The position will use a combination of financial analysis tools and techniques as well as data analysis tools and technologies to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization.

General monthly accruals, ROI analysis, using financial data to tell a story. Track payments and results. Annual budget process and monthly forecasting.

Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately

Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management; strong process documentation skillset preferred

Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts

Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems

Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 2 years of statistical or data analysis experience. Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting. General knowledge of analysis tools, SQL, and MS Office Suite of software, Hyperion, One Stream. Purchase order software.
