Case Manager-Bilingual

The company is seeking a Case Manager to manage a caseload of probationers in a program known as Adult Electronic Monitoring. This program is contracted through the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

This position provides excellent experience in the field of criminal justice.

Rate of pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are seeking a service-oriented Case Manager to manage a caseload of probationers. This position calls for protection of the community through supervision of the probated individual.

• Meet regularly with probationer based on the individual’s probation terms
• Review activity reports with each individual
• Collect required documentation
• Administer breath alcohol and urinalysis drug tests
• Arrange follow up appointments
• Set up schedules in accordance with probation terms
• Install monitoring equipment and continually assess equipment

Requirements and Skills Needed:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Conversational Spanish
• Social work/law enforcement or case management experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and utilize effective time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Advanced typing skills
• Advanced problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
• Ability and experience in handling a large caseload

Special Requirements:

Candidate must be 21 years of age or older per Los Angeles County Probation.
