General Purpose:
- Manage audio product roadmap from concept to end of life. Manage and work with cross functional teams both locally and remote to meet targets for cost, schedule, functionality, and quality. Coordinate development across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
- Enthusiastic individual who loves playing PC and console video games, watching esports, and has the experience and skill to help create quality products that gamers will enjoy.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Drive planning and the vision for audio products for the Corsair brand.
- Develop and manage the roadmap for the audio category for both hardware products and software features.
- Manage schedules, pricing, and resources for an on-time and on-budget launch.
- Develop and present product concepts to upper management including forecasts, budgets, ROI, go-to-market plans.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify market opportunities.
- Manage product CMF, ID design, UX, regional packaging, and software interfaces.
- Understand regional certification requirements and costs.
- Evaluate risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure product meets the feature requirements and Industrial Design goals.
- Research new technologies, techniques, and processes to meet product goals.
- Some travel required, mostly domestic with the occasional international trip.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience.
- Be highly motivated and goal oriented.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- 5 years of professional experience in consumer electronics or product management.
- Audio experience highly preferred.
- Experience working with 3rd party licensors including PlayStation, Xbox, Dolby, etc. preferred.
- Ability to work with cross-functional development team.
- Understanding of gaming, interactive, online, console, PC market is a must.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills, up and down the hierarchy.
- Familiar with MS Office suite of software.
