The Packaging Operator leads a shift to run the packaging lines. This person will need operations
knowledge to operate the equipment in a safe and optimal manner. Packaging operator should be capable to working as a team leader, should be proactive, communicate concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Packaging Operator works with Mechanical equipment in packaging lines including: Conveyors, fillers, cappers, case erectors, sealers, etc.
• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.
• Perform paperwork and complete daily reports in electronic files.
• Perform immediate response activities assigned by Immediate Response Leader.
• Complete required site certification in a timely manner.
• Adherence to safety and standard operating procedures/practices.
• Perform process equipment troubleshooting.
• Load/unload materials and freight, final product packaging, moving and mixing raw materials and transfer to vessels.
• Warehousing activities including forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, etc.
• Operate Mechanical equipment in packaging lines including: Conveyors, fillers, cappers, case erectors, sealers, etc…
• Various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

• You have your High School Diploma/GED.
• You are also willing and able to pull/push/lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
• You are reliable, have great problem solving skills and work well on a team.
• Willing and able to work shift work.
• Willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when needed.
