We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer who will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing a variety of technical documents and publications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with
subject matter experts to ensure clarity and accuracy in all materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and online help content.
- Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Edit and proofread documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to publication standards.
- Utilize electronic publishing tools to design and format documents effectively.
- Ensure all documentation meets company and industry standards.
- Assist in the development of templates and style guides for technical documentation.
- Maintain version control and document management practices.
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Technical Writing, English, Communication, or a related field with five (5) years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent with ten (10) years of highly relevant specialized experience, including prolonged military instruction.
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing functions, publication standards, and processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, with a Microsoft Office
- Specialist certification and a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience or five (5) years of demonstrated experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with electronic publishing tools is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
